Our brand new vertical extrusion line for silicone profiles has been introduced.
The new vertical extrusion line produces more complex sealing profiles with even better dimensional tolerances than a horizontal extrusion.
Essentially, the vertical manufacturing process is the key to better geometrical mastery. The upwards steered extrusion protects the profile from descending and any imprints that may occur when the profile hits the conveyor belt.
Ii’s new production line also features a continuous profile dimension measurement that speeds up the response to changes in the process if needed. The production line’s vulcanization technics also represent entirely new technology.
Energy efficiency has improved significantly
In addition to qualitative benefits, the new vertical production line is an energy-efficient production method. Its adjustability allows the precise energy use allocation, so no idle takes place in the process.
Energy efficiency is also improved due to the new cooling system that was acquired in touch with the new production line. The new cooling system makes the production conditions even more stable.
These investments are part of an energy technology development project supported by the European Regional Development Fund.
