To find the best solution for each case, we test the properties of our materials and seals in our own laboratory.
We use a rheometer to test the curing speed of our materials, and a tensile testing machine to test for elongation, tensile strength and compression set. We use a durometer to test the hardness of our finalised products.
If we need to test our materials for fire resistance or sealing properties, weathering or chemical resistance, we do this alongside our partners.
In addition to testing materials, we test the end products. When a new product is made, we always ask our customer to approve the model first. This allows us to ensure that new profile models and sealing solutions fit the customer’s product before we begin manufacturing our product. This gives us flexibility with respect to any modifications required, and the manufacturing process of the sealing solution is swift and timely. The process is also cost-effective, as no unnecessary work is performed.
